A music band focused on the authentic presentation of traditional Cuban music in Czech Republic since 2000.

The inspiration for the first songs were from the cuban project „Buena Vista Social Club“, which was very popular all over the world at the end of the last century. Later inspired by the contemporary salsa scene of the 70s and 80s with singers like Celia Cruz, Oscar de Leon and others. In recent years, incorporating the guitar and the Cuban tres, we have returned to a more traditional style – Trío Matamoros, Los Compadres, etc.

Our music will take you to Cuba in the middle of the 20th century, time of dance halls, cabarets, mambo and cha-cha-chá. Contact and interaction with the public is essential for us. So our concerts can be accompanied by dance performances and workshops on the basic steps of Cuban dances with band leader and singer Jorge Concepcion.

The composition of the band can be Duo, Trío, Cuarteto, etc., up to 8 musicians. Traditional and classic cuban music. Classic with danzón, chachachá and mambo and traditional with Cuban son, bachata and chachachá. We play the same in a small cafe, a restaurant, a music club, or at a big music festival.

Musicians from Czech Republic, Uruguay, Perú, Argentina, Cuba, Venezuela and other countries look forward to see you.

Pragasón also functions as an artistic agency that can supply other musical groups and dancers. Brazilian, Jazz, Folklore, etc. So if you are interested in any musical production, do not hesitate to contact us.
